15-year-old girl becomes pregnant after being abused

Police have arrested a 21-year-old man for abusing a 15-year-old girl in Haliela.

The girl was admitted to the Badulla Hospital due to an emergency condition and it was revealed that she was 5 months pregnant at that time.

It has been revealed that she has conceived twins in her womb and the 21 year old youth who was later in hiding has been arrested by the Haliela Police.
