Pushpika wants to be in Parliament

The crowned   Mrs Sri Lanka for Mrs World Pushpika De Silva had tears and a new ambition when she met the media to tell the latest.

While answering a question raised by a journalist during a media briefing at the Shangri-La Hotel  said that she may enter politics soon and said that she has some past

 

experiences

 

She revealed that she once had a nomination from the Polonaruwa district.How ever she was compelled to decline. 

 

"Contesting at the General Election from Polonnaruwa District is very hard because it was a huge challenge for me as the former President contested from that District," she said.

 

Meanwhile her husband who was silent for some time commented on social media. Pushpika’s husband, in a Facebook post on Monday said the couple’s divorce was about to get finalized and said it made no difference if she was nominated even as the President of the country.

 

Pushpika said that she has no idea of a divorce.
