Why April 29 is special?

International Dance Day - Dancing is an art, a skill having a global and universal language. Humans naturally love dancing since it inspires joy and happiness in us. It brings us together whether we are the ones on the dance floor or are watching the professional performance of others. Dancing and watching dancing, both are impressive and exciting. Do put on your dancing shoes and step onto the arena! Let’s honor the world of dance today, together!

 

International Astronomy Day - It was all started by the president of the Astronomical Association of Northern California, Doug Berger. He set up a telescope in a free area to gaze at space because he intended to get people in urban areas interested in astronomy. Since then, a number of institutes and organizations, space agencies, and museums supported the event with the popularity it gained.  

 

International Sculpture Day - International Sculpture Day falls on April 29. It's an amazing artwork that is visual and three-dimensional. In general, stone sculptures last significantly longer unchanged rather than other works of art made of perishable materials. Sculptures always were a major component of religious devotion in many cultures, and enormous sculptures were commonly used to represent religion or politics until recently. The most surviving sculptures are found in The ancient Mediterranean, India, and China, as well as in various cultures from Central and South America and Africa.

 

World Healing Day - In order to promote our physical and mental health and care this day is marked. It is celebrated annually on the last Saturday of April, which is on April 29 this year. The World Healing Day began as Tai Chi Day and it involves activities to boost our self-care and health. This is a perfect day to learn and understand various forms of healing techniques. The activities for the day begin at 10 A.M. The activities are coordinated by “WorldHealingDay.org.”

 

World Veterinary Day - The day is celebrated to honour the noble profession of veterinarians. It falls on April 29. The day remarks the recognition of those who have dedicated their lives to helping animals. Veterinarians are some of the most caring and selfless people in the world since they have to perform many difficult tasks to cure animals from injury and illness.
