A Sri Lankan selected to US president's commission on white House fellowship

 

Dr.George E.Gabriel has been appointed to the President's Commission on White House Fellowships by US President Joe Biden.

Dr.George is an Sri Lankan who had completed his first graduation fron University of Kelaniya and later immigrated to USA and obtained his doctorate at Vanderbilt University as a Fulbright Scholar.

He has contributed as a researcher and a  demonstrator nearly 25 years at two large community  colleges and has over 40 years of experience as an educator as well as demonstrator in two continents.

President Biden has appointed 22 members to the Commision and Dr.George is one among them.

"The Commission is made of outstanding citizens of USA who reflects the diversity and strength of America as well as they represent a wide range of backgrounds, experiences and professions."
