Overstaying Russian couple arrested in Kandy

A Russian couple was arrested by the Kandy Tourist Police for violating immigration laws and staying in the country without a visa.

 

The couple was arrested in the Hanthana area last evening (26).

 

The 39-year-old male and 32-year-old female Russian were handed over to the Kandy Police for further investigations.
