Cabinet nod for final report on increasing public service salaries

The Cabinet has approved the Presidential Expert Committee's final report, which recommends increasing public service salaries and allowances effective January 1, 2025, the President’s Media Division (PMD) said.

President Ranil Wickremesinghe said the recommendations of the Expert Committee to increase public service salaries and allowances will be implemented through the Ministry of Finance and it is his desire to increase the income of all citizens of this country.
