My father would have won Nobel Peace Prize if he had signed MOU with LTTE - Namal

Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa would have won the Nobel Peace Prize if he had signed an MOU with the LTTE but he did what he had to do, Sri Lanka  Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) MP Namal Rajapaksa said yesterday.

 

"Even we and our children will have to suffer for crushing thr LTTE. We were aware of this fact from the beginning," MP Rajapaksa told the media.

 

"We will continue our politics despite whatever challenges we might have to face," he added.
