Youth injured in crash involving motorcycle and police jeep

 

A motorcyclist has been seriously injured in a collision with a jeep belonging to Kirinda Police Station.

The accident took place at around 9:00 a.m. Yesterday in Tissamaharama Kasingama area, the concerned police jeep collided with a motorcycle coming from the opposite direction while trying to overtake a vehicle.

The jeep was driven by the Station Commander of the Kirinda Police and several officers were inside the vehicle at the time of the accident.
