The charges against Patali in the 2016 assault case were read out in court

The charges against MP Patali Champika Ranawaka and two other defendants in the 2016 case relating to the preparation of evidence in connection with the 2016 accident were read out in the Colombo High Court today.

The case was filed in connection with the death of a former Minister of Metropolitan and Western Provincial Development on February 28, 2016 when his vehicle collided with a motorcycle in Rajagiriya.
