Sri Lanka to introduce bill to ban obscene

The Cabinet has approved the publication of the Gazette Notification on the Prohibition of Obscene Publications Bill.

Accordingly, the Attorney General's approval has been obtained for the Bill to be drafted by the Legislature.

The Cabinet approved the publication of the Bill in the Government Gazette and its subsequent submission to Parliament for approval.
