Several more arrested including Individual who took President’s iron

Five suspects have been arrested for the illegal entry and damage of property at the President’s official residence in Fort, Colombo during the public unrest on 09th July 2022.

The Police said one suspect was found to have stolen an iron from the President’s residence.

Four suspects from Colombo 14, Kalubowila, and Rukmalgama have been arrested on charges of occupying the President’s official residence.
