Petrol prices slashed

 

Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) will reduce the price of petrol 92 octane and petrol 95 octane with effect from midnight yesterday (Oct. 01), according to Mr. Kanchana Wijesekera, Minister of Power and Energy.

Accordingly, the price of a liter of octane 92 petrol is Rs. 40 by and petrol 95 octane Rs. 30.

The revised rates are as follows.
Petrol 92 Octane - Rs. 410.00
Petrol 95 Octane - Rs. 510.00
