Drop in Sri Lanka’s official reserve assets in July

 

According to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, Sri Lanka's official reserve assets are estimated at US$1,815 million as of the end of July.

At the end of June, the country's gross official reserves stood at Rs 1,854 million. Accordingly, from June to July, official reserve assets recorded a decline of 2.1 percent.

Meanwhile, foreign currency reserves fell by 2.2% to $1,708 million in July from $1,746 million in June.
