Court rejects Nimal Siripala’s petition against his removal from SLFP posts

The Colombo District Court has rejected the application filed by Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva requesting to issue a court order preventing former president Maithripala Sirisena from removing himself from the positions he held in the party.

Colombo District Court Judge Purnima Paranagama announced this decision when the petition was called on Monday (Dec. 05).
