Chetan Sharma quits as India’s chief cricket selector after TV sting operation

The chairman of the Indian cricket selection committee has resigned due to an operation carried out by a local TV channel.
Former cricketer Chetan Sharma was caught on camera making shocking allegations about the selection process and some players.
The video went viral on social media and created a stir. A senior cricket official said that Mr Sharma had "voluntarily resigned" and that his resignation had been accepted.
"Yes, Chetan Sharma has submitted his resignation to BCCI secretary Jay Shah," a senior Board of Control for Cricket in India official told PTI. "His condition became unbearable after the sting operation.
