Archbishop of Colombo calls on the international community to assist in the investigation into the Easter attack

The Archbishop of Colombo, His Eminence, Cardinal Malcolm Ranjith has called on the international community to extend its support to investigate the 2019 Easter Sunday attacks.

 

“We need the support of the international community to find out as to who used these 07 or 08 eight persons to fulfill their objectives,” the Archbishop of Colombo said.

 

Cardinal Malcolm Ranjith pointed out that the President and the present Government had assured that they would deliver justice to those who were affected in the attacks, while he had also assured that the Presidential Commission will continue to probe the attacks when he met the Sri Lanka Catholic Bishops Conference as soon as he came to power.
