According to the GCE O/L results, 75% of the students have qualified for the A/L

Commissioner General of Examinations Sanath B. Poojitha said that 75% of the candidates who sat for the GCE Ordinary Level examination have qualified for the Advanced Level.

The Secretary to the Ministry of Education Prof. Kapila Perera stated that students can study for the Advanced Level without releasing the GCE Ordinary Level results in Aesthetic subjects.

The Commissioner General of Examinations further stated that 231,458 students have qualified for the GCE Advanced Level this year.
