A newly married couple in Ampara enter the house using a ladder

A 30-year-old man from Ampara has returned from a job abroad and married a girl he fell in love with through Facebook last month.

The young man had complained to the Uhana Police that he had to enter his room with his new bride with the help of a ladder as his parents and three sisters had locked the door of the house in protest of the marriage.

He has requested the police to tell his parents to open the main door for him and his wife to enter and exit the house.
