Walmart plans new business strategies

Walmart plans a new business strategy to build up mini automated warehouses in its stores in order to speed up online delivery and pickup orders against the race with Amazon.

 

Walmart has announced that they are in a plan to add 20,000- 30,000  square-foot automated fullfillment centers where robots will be at work in many areas instead of employees to speed up the process. The items will be gathered by robots and brought to the employees where those will be assembeled by them before the delivery.

 

The main aim of adding these fullfillment centers is to handle more orders and meanwhile get them ready faster.
