Save water save life

Water can be elucidated as one of the most valuable gifts bestowed to man by nature. Almost every living component on earth is made of water. Water is an essential aspect that helps the sustenance of human being s and other living beings on earth. Two thirds of our body is made of water and it is one of the basic human needs. Plants too require water for a range of its basic functions, especially for processes like photosynthesis.
Water has no color and it is a clear liquid which takes a hue of blue when it is viewed from a 20ft thickness. The boiling point and the freezing point of water are 100 degrees centigrade and 0 degree centigrade respectively.


Undoubtedly, water is crucial for the sustenance of living beings owing to many reasons. It aids our bodies to carry out the metabolic activities and it also helps it in the regulation of body temperature. Water has no calories and the intake of water in sufficient amounts aids in weight loss as well. It is also a good medicine for a series of diseases. It deserves mentioning that we can hardly think of life without water.


It is necessary that the required steps are being expedited to conserve this valuable resource. Unfortunately, the pollution and wastage of water are apparent around the world to a greater extent and these are being boosted by the evolving technology and the complicated needs of man.

 

Manmade activities pose a threat to the depletion of this resource and they include deforestation, dumping of industrial wastage to water and many more. Children should be taught to conserve water and they need to be made aware of the importance of this resource. Time has come to take immediate action to conserve water as it a crucial factor that determined our survival and our plant.
